On 17 March 1954, the cable and wire connections to Wittstock airfield were tested and the following observations were made: a. 14 wires supported by a row of masts lead from the direction of 25X1 Meyenburg to distributer G at the field b. 1 wire leads from the Red Mill Inn to the distributor c. 16 wires lead from the direction of Neuruppir4 to the distributor G d. 8 wires lead from the direction of Dranse to the distributor G e. 1 individual wire leads from the komendatura in Wittstock to the distributor G. 2. On 20 May, the following cables and wires were observed leading tot}e distributor G at the field: a. 14 wires from the direction of Meyenburg b. 14 wires from the direction of Neuruppin c. 8 wires from the direction of Dranse d. 1 wire from the direction of the AA gun emplacement e. 2 thick rubber cables and 1 rubber cable 1.5 to 2 cm in diameter from the direction of Berlinchen f. 1 wire from the Red Mill Inn. This line was the connection to the wires coming from Meyenburg.. 3. They joined the lines coming from the direction of Meyenburg c. 16 wires leading from the direction of Nueruppin to the distributor G d. 8 wires leading from Dranse to distributor G e. 1 wire from the direction of the AA gun emplacement f. 2 wires leading from the komendatura in Wittstock to an unidentified point at the field. Comment. Wittstock airfield is believed to be still occupied by ne neadquarters of the Northern Ftr Corps and 1 fighter regiment.
