At 0730 on 22 October 1954, 1 MiG-15, 4 I1-28s and 2 Li-2s were 25X1
observed at Bad Voeslau airfield. A row of 14 lights along the
landing strip, about 50 meters apart, was observed from the road
leading to Wiener Neustadt. The row possibly consisted of more
lights which could not be seen because of undulations of the ground.
omment. Bad Voeslau airfield is occupied by a courier and
liaison squadron of the Fifty-Ninth Air Army.
