THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION Another prob:Lem hampering; the production of the Jenapharrn plant is the shortage of technical personnel and skilled workers. Eight employees with university training who were to be hired refused to come to Jena because of housing difficulties. Many young workers left the firm because higher paid jobs were offered to them by the VP and the SED. The Personnel Department of the p;lant'is moreover restricted in its planning by a strict "table of labor" which fixes the maximum number of workers who may be employed. 4.
