(LISTED BELOW) SUPPLEMENT TO REPORT NO, 1: The Albanian Trade Mission- in- East Germany is- located on Treskow-Allee, 1/ between Dorothea Strasse and Doenhoff Strasse, inBerlin-Kanlshorst. There are several employees of this office. Bansi (fnu)Xappears to head the - section in charge of the exportation of Albanian ores and the importat525X1 of steel goods of all types. Most of the other employees of the Trade Mission had practically no knowledge of Russian and very` little know- ledge of German. Bansi, on the other hand, speaks very good Russian and some German, for which reason he may have been appointed to handle contacts with representatives of DIA-Metall who had business with the Trade Mission. if 3. All business dealings between German representatives of the DIA organizations and Bansi were conducted in the reception room of the Trade Mission. This room is furnished in modern style with upholstered sofas and armchairs. There is a large painting depicting a steel mill hanging on the wall of this room. 25X1 4. Dia-Metall dealt with the Trade Mission in regard to deliveries of copper ore (Blisterkupfer) from Albania. Deliveries frequently arrived in Berli, v^` behind schedule and not in conformity with the delivery terms agreed upon in the contract. There were also frequent difficulties with the Albanian Trade Mission concerning the quality of the ore delivered. All correspon- dence between DIA-Metall and the Albanian Import Corporation, Enterprise'' pour 1TImportation,1Rue.
