It is noteworthy that elements of the regiment moved to the Bismarck Kaserne which was previously believed to have been occupied by the 498th AAA Regt only. Since AAA units occupied the Hindenburg Kaserne on 17 October 1954, a change in occupation of the two barracks installations is possible, The SP guns observed at the Hubertus aserne belong to the 170th Gds Fitz Rifle Regt, Elements of the regiment were previously stationed at this kaserne. The vehicles observed at the Bluecher Kaserne belong to the 170th Gds Mtz Rifle Regt which returned to its previous quarters from field exercises, 2, I_=ICom?ent.
