THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION
1. On 11 November 1954, 20 apparently new four-wheel armored personnel 25X1
carriers were unloaded at the Satzkorn railroad station. The shipment
came from Frankfurt-border. 1
2. At 0445 on 13 November, a shipment of 10 tanks of a new type, one
armored personnel carriers with equipment and one armored personnel
carrier wits, escorting detail arrived at the S&tzkorn railroad station
from Frankfurt-border The shipment
was unloaded.
The tanks had a chassis similar to that of a T-34 tank, except for
the fact that the five bogie wheels were provided with spokes. The
height of the tank was 2.5 meters. The gun, which had a caliber of 25X1
approximately 85 mm, had no muzzle and the front armor slanted less
than that of a T-34 tank. The tanks were carefully covered by tarpaulins
which were removed only immediately before the unloading. Prior to the
unloading, a major of the escorting detail called a unit in Krampnitz. 2
