Ningpo. The larges group observed comprised nine planes in three flights of
three planes each. These'aircraft appea?Tc both to land at and take off from

697198 to grid reference 702192. The main road running north from grid
reference 700162 had been diverted eastward at grid reference 705980 to 25X1
Chuangshihchen '(N 29-56, E 121-36). A barbed'wire fence ran from grid
reference 7114585 to"grid reference 729205.. two MIG aircraft
landed on the northwest end of Changch'iao's runway.

Comment. The description of air activity in the Hangchow-Ningpo
area given a ove is generally consonant with known information on air
