DATE PREPARED 13 December 194 1. Between C800 and 1430 on ~:Novecnber 1954, 4 iG-1~s, 3 Il-28s and 3 Li-.s were observed at Bad ~Toeslaw airfield. There was a 1C~1C overcast at an altitude of about 1,000 meters, a northwesterly wind of about 8 km~h, ground fog ~-?ith a visibility range of up to about 40C meters prior to 1100 and good visibility over the ,,ntire field after 11CG. ~To air activity was conducted. - 2. Between '! 310 and 1320 on 12 :November, 4 ,,aG-15s, 3 I1-28s and 3 Li-2s were observed at Bad Voeslau airfield A row of 6 searchlights was being newly established in the northeastern section of the field. The individual searchlights c:ere about 20 mete:??s apart. The li,;hting facilities along the iTrTE-SSE take-off strip were reinfroced by additional lamps. The searchli{~?~ts were similar to those previously observed in 'rr'ierer Pieustadt and Deutsch .~'agram. 3~ The following observations were made in the Bad Voeslau military pest on g November: ?? 50X1-HUM Gainfarn Castle. The installation was carded b sentries we - bordered blue epaulets. Van-like truck and sedan the latter erith driver wearing black-bordered blue epaulets were parked in front of the entrance. 50X1-HUM ~~0 25 Hoch Strasse. There motor vehicles :sere parked under the lean-to roof. 1~?0 12 Gainfarn Strasse. The installation seemed to be unoccupied. N~o 12 Wiener TTeustaeater Strasse. A lieutenant and 2 majors all nearing b~ue?-bordered blue epaulets entered the building. There were several telephone lines between the building and Voeslau Castle. swearing b~aclc-bordered blue epaulets. Voeslau Castle, The installation was guarded. by sentries gearing blacK:?. .bordered blue epaulets. Two trucks and 2 radio trucks were arked in the yard, Vehicular traffic observed included jeep c;ith driver 50X1-H U M Villa Dorothea.
