Only 20 officers stayed with toe regiment, wiiile the other 40 officers were reassigned to units which were stationed at Pinnow and Torgelow. 1 and 2 4. From 4 to 11 November, a training course for company leaders was held in Torgelow under the direction of .,lajor Itzekiel (fnu) from the division headquarters. 3 5. Regular service activity was not resumod after the discharges. The new training year was scheduled to begin on 1 December 1554- 6. In late October, 15 men were dispatched to the Berlin area in an effort to recruit volunteers for the KTP. Considering reassignments, the arithmetic result is coin,aited at a reduction of the regimental strength by about 150 men. It is believed that, in fact, the actual strength exceeds the ration strength figures indicated in running; reports which are subject to short-tare fluctuations. The lst Inf Regt is stationed at Pinncw and the other units of the division are stationed at lorgelow-Droegeheide. Lajor Itzekiel (fnu) has been mentioned in a previous resort 3c' J,,ly 1954 as captain and officer on special assignment at the headquarters of infantry Division Prenzlau. Co.wient.
