1. Prior to mid-October 1954, the Potsdam motor transposs1
was located at 27 Stalin Allee, formerly -Berliner Sty
the school had been located in Apollensdorf and, after about 1 May
1953, in Halle; it moved from Halle to Potsdam in the fall of 1953.
The official designation of the school was "Of.~yww ift f J05". 1
2. In mid-October 1954, the school was organized 400 $ %MeWartersunW,
and three companies. The trainees numbered abooO mien. Every training
,%burse lasted three years. Officers of the school included Colonel
Fleissner (fnu), co.manding officer, and Major Marker (fnu), political
officer. The rt*,airrlg training course terminated with a so-called state
examination on 7 October 1954. After a two weeks' leave, the
graduates returned to the school in order to learn the results of the
examinations. All of them had passed the examination and were
discharged as junior lieutenants prior to 31 October. Most were
reassigned to an office in Strausberg. The others were dispatched
to Eggesin, Hohenstuecken, Pasewalk, Berlin-Adlershof and Berlin-
Treptow. 2, 3
3. Most soldiers of the cadre personnel of the school were given leave
from 23 October to 8 November 1954. After their return, all new
trainees had arrived. On 8 November, the ration strength was 367
trainees. Organization and strength of the new training class was exactly
the same aS the preceding one. 2
4. Sixty officers whose arrival had been expected since 15 November
failed to arrive prior to 20 November. It was allegedly planned to
attach one additional trainin:_ company each to the lst and the 2d
Co to train these officers. The objectives of officers' training were
allegedly:
a. Instruction in the railroad transportation system
for very talented officers;
b. Training for the position of a "regimental technical
officer";
c. Improvement of theoretical

crossbars and the letter A.

11. On 1i, 'November, the installation on Junkers in Dessau au,:,rtered an
estimated 600 r1-VPs. Since about 4 November, enlisted men and some
officers who wore pink collar patches had also been observed at
this site. It was determined that the green collar patches waic:i
had also u~en observed previously were worn by members of t :e

patches. The entire training ground at Sieglitzer Berg (hill) was
still cordoned off by F2 sentries.-*~
12. On 1: November, the installation on _l. huehnauer Strasse in Dessau
only (.,uartered aboL.t 100 men. On the same date, two junior lieutenants
who wore li,;ht-blue co lar patches were observed at the site. The
occupation of the installation was still unchanged. On 15 October
1NO , the course of instruction was terminated. The graduates ;.,ere
given two wee:.s leave, after which they were dispatched to their new
stations. Some of the civilian employees were dismissed. ~--

On 19 October, a number >f KVP soldiers and officers who carried
suitcases and other luggage and allegedly departed for their
leave destinations were observed at the Bernau railroad station.
14. "During short-term observations on 11, 15 and 17 I';ovember, no
activity was observed in the area of Oranienburg Castle.

of the installation. Soldiers observed at the site wore red-
b~rdered black collar patches.

Comment. Due present report agrees with previous information.
