approximately 340 troops, equipped with 60-mm. mortars and
I accompanied by ependenta, arrived in Juian (N 27-48, S 120-38) from the direction
of Pingyang N 27-40 2120 -34). They were quartered in civilian houses in 25X1
Kungehihang (0361/344+-/5887) neat' the South Gate of Juian.
120 civilians, including 30 families, arrived in Juian via the
s imately 400 Public Security troops attired in black uniforms
an equ ppe v 60-m. mortars, heavy sohine s, and rifles arrived in the
coastal area near Aoehianglmcu (I 27-34, s 120-28 They had come from Hengshan
(2897/1472), Juian. 25X1
enc u n erry. The men were blue twill Chungehan (0022/1472) uniforms, and
the women wore blue Lenin uniforms. Bob carried a pistol. After resting at 25X1
ferry landing for three hours,'the group proceeded toward Pingyang.
