1. The Economic Plan for bulk consumer goods for 1954 was increased
from the 1953 figure of 791,000,000 0 E to 908,000,000 W. The quota
of the Ministry for Heavy Industry in connection with the resolution
of the Fourth Party Congress (Parteitag) to produce one billion 4
worth of consumer goods amounted to 50,000,000 M. Therefore, the revised
Plan for this Ministry amounted to 965,000,000 T. The total Plan of
this Ministry for the first half of 1954 was fulfilled 100.2%.
