On 1 oabMer 19549 the signal courses, which prior to that date were
given in Sassnitz and conducted in the Dwasieden Camp, were transferred
to Parow near Stralsund and conducted at the Seepolizeischule (Sea-
-Police School) installations thereo
Comment. At the same date, the sea-police replacement depot, rhich
previously was located in Parow, was transferred to Sassnitz and
quartered at the Dwasieden hutmento In October 1954, a large number of
recruits arrived in Sassnitz for basic training in Dwasieden.
