line from Bernau to Frankfurt/Oder was to start in December 1954.
The first construction phase provided for the laying of two 350-
pair core cables from Bernau to Alt-Madlitz via Straueberg and
Muencheberg.
The second phase provided for two 300-pair core cables and one
100-pair core cable on the Alt Madlitz-Frankfurt/Oder line.
2. Type PM cables were to be used with a diameter of 0.8 mm.
The cables were government-owned. The project was to be financed
from 11/3 - 1955 funds. In connection with the above-mentioned
project, the former OKH telephone central in Ruederadorf was
to be connected with Frankfurt/Oder.
3. A wireman, who was employed in Saxony in the summer of 1954,
stated that a line with an unusually high number of core
pairs had been installed between Leipzig and Goerlitz.
