for the Eumneradorf training grounds, a troop build-up is taking place in East
Germany. Three additional divisions as well as many very heavy artillery pieces
are said to have arrived in East Germany during the period of 5 to 22 January.
gomme : This information is believed to be false; it may have been planted
in order to obstruct, if acquired by non-intelligence organizations, the ratification
of the Paris Agreements and West German rearmament. The Soviets, by planting a
series of patently false reports, may also be attempting to conceal an actual future
build-up.
