a. Pylons for carrying electric high-tension wires are being erected along the
Budapest-Hatvan railroad line.
b. This work is progressing very slowly because there is a great shortage of
copper wire.

a. It is planned to double-track the whole Budapest-Z&hony (USSR border) railroad
line.
b. Work is progressing very slowly because there is a great shortage of rails.
c. This work is considered unnecessary by experts of the Hungarian State Railroads
as the single line can comfortably handle the amount of traffic passing over it.
The line is at present working well below planned capacity.
