Training concentrated 25X1 on basic training of recruits. 2. On 13 December, approximately 50 percent of the windows of the former post hospital (2202) in Neurupp n were lit at dusk. A sentry vrho wore red-bordered black epaulets was seen at the gate on Karl L'i ebknScht Strasse. 3. On 13 December, approximately 95 percent of the windows of t e Fridericus Kaserne (2205) in Neuruppin were lit at dusk. The installation appeared to be heavily occupied. 4. On 13 December, approximately 95 percent of the windows the Friedrich Franz Kaserne (2201) were lit at dusk. The i_nst2l1^ti.)n was heavily occupied. 5. Between 30 November and 13 December: the See Kaserne (2203) al,,-;eared to be occupied to capacity. Between 6 and 1 December, 5 to 6 tanks (T-34/85s, J3-3 tanks and JSU--122 guns) left the installation almost daily toward the Gentzrode post training; area. 6. After 30 November, a lame number of new driving students was observed in the former High School for Girls (2204). Prior to 13 December, the installation was heavily occupied by soldiers who wore red-bordered black epaulets. Between 22 November and 7 December. Unit Dronov in the Fridericus Kaserne concentrated on basic training with and without carbines. The unit, which numbered approximately 1,200 soldiers, included approximately 50 percent recruits.Parior to 7D-e cepker, the recruits wore red epaulets; after that date, they wore red=-bordered black epaulets. 8. ?etween 8 and 29 December. the Friedrich-Franz Kaserne was occupied as previously. Unit Zultanov was assigned a new supply officer and was rename4 Unit Mosgun. The unit had approximately 600 soldiers who wore red-bordered black epaulets with arti'dtry insignia. Soldiers observed received basic training in groups and instruction on up to 3 x 85-mm and 3 x 37-mm AA guns. Sedans left the installation. 9. On 29 December. 5 x 122-mm field howitzers were seen in a shed of the cantonment at Scholtenplatz, south of Scholtenatrasse. 10. In November, the Wulkow estate (2500) east of Neuruppin was occupied by approximately 450 soldiers who wore red-bordered black epaulets with motor transport insignia. The soldiers belonged to a motor transport unit. Approximately 80 trucks and 10 tank trucks were seen in the yard of the installation. A fuel depot was seen near the estate. Supply officer Kusmenko belonged to the unit. 1l. Setween 8 and 16 December. the barracks installations of the Neuruppin post were heavily occupied. On 16 December, a column of 5 truck and I jeep with a l22-mm field howitzer came from the direction of th.ePriedrich-Franz Kaserne and proceeded toward Rheinsbarger Tor. 12. Between 16 and 18 Decemberg the barracks installations in Neuruppin vrere still heavily occupied. Normal training was oboe in the installation areas. The following units, officers and7 were determined during the period under review: Fox-rue Ppst Hospital: Major Duiko, supply officer with the heard 2202) headquarters; Senior Lieutenant Besnozikov, who will soon be transferred to the USSR; Lieutenant Muslimov, successor of Senior Lieutenant Besnozikov; Captain Homanovski.
