APPRAISAL OF CONTENT IS TENTATIVE 1. The capacity of the Lauta power station which is situated near Senftenberg in the Niederlausits area and supplies several large industrial undertakings with current, has been increased by the installation of two new turbosets, thus bringing its total of turbosets up to six. The total installed capacity is now about 108,000 KW. 2. Another turboset (the seventh) is at present (12 - 14 December 1954) under- going tests and is scheduled to be connected to the network on 27 December 1954. 3. Turboasts Nos. 8 and 9 are still being erected. Their capacity will be in the vicinity of 12,500-13,000 KW. Test runs are scheduled to begin on 1 February 1955. 4.
