These products are packaged in bales of 25 each. There is no permanent
military commission in the factory; approximately once a month a military
board from Trencin (N 48-53, E 18-03) accepts the products, and they
are shipped by rail. Shipments occur twice a month. Generally speaking,
the uniforms are sent to the quartermaster depots in Bratislava, Trencin,
Mistek (N 49-40, E 18-20),and the aviation quartermaster depot in Bratislava-
Ivanka.
5. Cloth and accessory materials reach the factory by rail. Two or three
trains arrive weekly at Puchov station with supplies for the factory.
Sixty percent of the textiles for uniforms, chiefly coarse cloth, are
supplied by textile mills in Zilina. Mills in Trencin and Kysucke Novo
Mesto (N 49-18, E 18-47) also supply cloth.
6. In October 19539 production was suspended, and from that month until the
beginning of 1954 the factory worked only for the Soviet armed forces.
During that period, with two shifts daily, 25,000 blouses were manufactured
for Soviet aviators; the cloth was supplied by the USSR. During this
special period of manufacture, the work was watched by two Soviet officers
who were placed in the factory.
