The Captain Jegorov Plant (Zavod Kapitana Jegorova), Number 22, in Dolne Vestenice, near Banovce nad Bebrav'ou (P 49/T 76), is a factory of Aero National Enterprise. It began to operate in January 1954. Its installations cover an area of 300 by 200 meters and consist of an L- shaped shop 200 by 30 by 100 meters, two units used as storage places 25X1 for raw materials, an engine room with electric paver plant, and a three- story building housing offices. It is planned to expand the latter building. The plant equipment is new and of Czechoslovak manufacture. 2. The plant has about 800 workers. About 100 specialized workers were sent here from the Aero plant in Prague-Vysocany and constitute the nucleus of the workers. Half of the workers are women. The manager is Eng. Alexander Jirasek, a Czech, who comes from the Prague-Vysocany plant. The assistant manager and economic director is Jan Buzelka. The workers' representative and agent of the Party is Antonin Mazacek. 3. The plant produces airplanes of the Aero-45 type for civilian and military uses. The main Aero plant in Prague-Vysocany has been producing this model for several years, and in 1953 it,shipped to Poland and Rungary about 300 Aero-45 planes. The Dolne Vestenice plant turns out from 40 to 50 cockpits every month; they are then shipped to the plant in Trencianske Biskupice, near Trencin ;P 9/T 58), for mounting and finishing.) 4. Structural shapes and plates used in the construction of the Aero-45^are obtained from the metallurgical plant in Rymarov (P 50/N $9).2 Special parts are obtained from the Aero Plant in Prague-Vysocany. During 1954) the Dolne Vestenice plant should be able to supply the materials needed for its complete production cycle, especially cockpits and steering mechanism.
