During the first three weeks of September 1951+9 several six-engined.(sic) pro- peller-driven aircraft were observed flying over Arkhangelsk. They had swept-back wings and .a thick fuselage. one such airplane flying north passed over the city approximately twice a day, the aircraft originated from~an airfield sotithea s , of ngelsk. 2. Every daystwo?enginei-and four=engineiiaircraft passed over Arkhangelsk in small groups. They flew in the direction of Murmansk, and returned after 25X1 several hours. 3.
