THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION In July 19511 a total of n,M,` kg of various goods were transported in 2,918 freight cars through the Czechoslovak-Austrian border stations Devin- ska Nova Ves (P69/X89) - Marchegg (P49/S70) in both directions. Of this quantity 44,680,965 kg in 2,357 carloads and 19 various containers went from Marchegg to Devinska Nova Ves, and 8,561,007 kg in 561 carloads and five containers went in the opposite direction. The following goods were involved: 25X1 A. Metals 1,815,730 kg in 75 carloads P. Metal goods 1,257,973 kg in 77 carloads & 2 cases C. Chemicals 2,206,778 kg in 190 carloads & 3 containers D. Liquid & hardifuels 42,457,010 kg in 2,191 carloads E. Textiles 2011,166 kg in 20 carloads & 4 boxes F. Foodstuffs . 511,721 kg in 37 carloads G. Lumber 3,814,430 kg in 239 carloads H. Other items 974,164 kg in 89 carloads & 15 cases 53,211,972 kg in 2,918 carloads & 24 various containers Apart from this, 535 empty tankers went through the two border stations, L99 from Poland to Austria for refilling, and 36 in the opposite direction (most- ly to Poland for repair). 2. Comments "Platinen" is probably a trade mark designation of some 25X1 mre-i;a~ product which,in view of the quantity involved, can hardly have an4rthing in -common with platinum. The item was shipped from Donawitz (AU from-where most' of the other metal products (Wag. iron wire, steel rods, sheet iron) exported to Hungary are shipped. Its destination was Banreve (Hungary).
