THIS IS UNEVALUATED ?P FDRMATION I., No air activity was observed at Peenemuende airfield during November 1954) 25X1 2. In late November, more naval flie-9's than previously were observed in Wo-,,---. Between 30 November and 17 December, only little air activity was observed at xecnemu.ende airfield.. Six to 8 MIG-15e or CST-MtG-15s, 3 tr?a(.;tois and 2 tank trucks were permanently parked south of the main runway. The erews arrived by truck before air activity started. No barracks for the personnel .was observed at the field,' 4; The area between the eastern taxiway and Ile edge of tLe wooo, was used ac di,ypezsal area, Serviceable revetments existed at the er.ge car the wood both south and north of the flying lane. Aircraft were seldom seen being parked there,. It could not be observed how the aircraft +c :ce cgamouflaged. The vehicles used for towing aircraft resembled the large formerly formerly used by the German Wehrmacht : They had a :;losed driver? SED functionaries launched recruiting campaigns in Plcigast for the National Armed Forces. There wa a a negative result at one plant.. Results at other plants were not known. l., I LComment. It is believed that Peenemuende airfield is still occup:i.e,a y a naval fighter regiment.. Only little air activity was )boerved. 2. (Comment. The eastern dispersal area between the eastern taxiway and the edge of the wood has been reported repeatedly. According to available information, however, only the revetments south of the flying lane have previously been known.
