1. The entire Kolyma refion was under.Dalstroyo the headquarters of which was
in Khabarovsk (sic). There were recruitment officers in many cities.

Dalstroy disseminated a great deal of propaganda all over the USSR.

At Pyatiletka there was a small cassiteri

Factory, there was also a small cassiterite mine and the beginning of

one power cable of finger-thickness.
10. The road from Lazo to Seymchan was as wide as the main highway from
Seymchan to Magadan (N 59-34, 5 150-48). It was a dirt road with
room for three trucks side by side, In winter, it was kept open by
snow plows when there was up to one meter of snow. When there was
more snow, the machines cleared the frozen river, which was smoothe
