3. In early January, the men of the 2d Inf Regt received mainly field training

Comment. The figures mentioned in the present report practically agree
with the figures of 15 December. It is noted, however, that the low strength
figures of the 2d and 3d Bas which have been reported since the fall of 1954
are unchanged although as far as the figures as of 4 November are concerned
they have been related to the detaching of numerous soldiers for turnip-
