1. Military training for the 29800 female and 1,200 male students at the
Medical Academy in Warsaw is given on Wednesday of :each week. The male
students aree:assedbled on an open field, located near Aleje -Niepodleglosci
and Rakowiecka Street..,, from. 7 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., where they perform
exercises in foot drill, combat training in rural and built?up.areas,
tactics., and topogz'aphys From 3 p.mo to 7 or' 8 p.m. both male and female
students attend theoretical lectures,, which include Marxism, theory of
armed forces and buildup of armies. Occasionally, the lectures :are
given in the morning :and the exercises in the afternoon. More advanced
classes of students receive additional military training on other days,
in addition to the lectures on Wednesday.
2. The military training is under the supervision df an unidentified colonel
whose office is located on the premises of the Medical Academy at 30 Filtrowa
Street. he basement of this building includes an ammunition. storage room.

to 8 a.m. by 10 students.
3e Some students ere told recently that the political
situation might make it necessary for them to be called up for active
military serzice in the near future.
