On 1. October, there were four small naval vessels anchored off Cape Svyatoy Nos. Each vessel was 30 to 1.0 meters long, and it had a raked bow, a low bridge, a single inclined stack, a low forecastle and guns on both the fo and afterdecks. At 1030 hours on 10 October, a large naval vessel was seen off Kerets Point. 25X1 It had a raked bow; two gun turrets, one behind the other,'on the foredeck,with two or three guns in each turret; a high tower 'with a mast; two stacks; three gun turrets aft; and a forecastle which extended to the forward stack. The 25X1 ship was moving in a west-southwesterly direction at about 20 knots. 4. Just inside the control station near Port Ekonomiya many small naval vessels were seen; they were similar to those at Svyatoy Nos. 25X1 On 17 October many small naval vessels of the same type as those observed at Svyatoy Nos were seen at Solombala. 5. On the airfield at Keg Island) two heavy transport aircraft come in and land. The mud splashed high when they landed from the east toward the west. The aircraft had straight wines and two propellers.
