In August and September 195 4., the loading of bauxite at Komdxvm harbor for shipment to the USSR via the Danube amounted to approximately 809000 tons per month, 20 As of October 1954, approximately 120 - 130 carloads of bauxite are con- signed daily by rail from the bauxite loading ramp in KOMAXO harbor,, Transloading work is In progress day and night in three shifts., each of 100 - 120 men. The work is controlled by a permanent Soviet Commission located at the harbor. 3. The Soviet authorities are demanding still larger deliveries of bauxite from the Hungarians.
