The following is a listing of the pveposed production for 1955 at
VEB Sodafabrik Stassfurt.
Sodium bicarbonate DAB 6 - 3.000 tons
including 200 tons for export
In addition,. 11,200 tons of crude bicarbonate will be processed (getrocknet)
at VEB,S'tickstoffwerk Piesterita.. The Piesteritz enterprise -willuse 600
tons of this product for the production of baking powder.

was cancelled on the request of the Main Administration for Heavy 'Chemistry.
Comment. The control figure for calcined soda given by the State
Planning Commission was 460,000 tons. Proposed production
for 1955 is as follows:
