1. An airfield is located on the northern edge of Saaenioa,aad Ciroohou (149-12, E20-58)
along the northern side of 'the railro d line frog Humenae (N4a-56, 121-55) to $nina
(14d-59, 122-09). The wtern?boun&W is faraEd & .field trick leading from
Eaaieaka (x41.55, 322-00) to Rovne (x46.35, 120-03. The airfield is reotangalar
in shape and about ;000 a. long ' in - a southwest-northw t direction and 700 a.
wide in a northwest-southeast direction. The surface is flat an. grassy, Red
and white markers nark the boundaries of %he aitfield.

2. In the southeast. oarner of the airfield are two wooden Buts which serve as billets;
each hat is apW w41 ately 20 z ''a. To the west of the huts is a damaged reinforced
concrete building on, which a as 4 with,a wind cons is wonted.
3. -North of the billets, four twin-engine aircraft of a Dakota type are naraally parked.
4. In MW 1952 about 20 aircraft were seen landing and taking off at this airfield
during w w aaneavers.
5. In. May 1954 about 50 troops wearing red berets were seen at the local railroad static4
unloading unspecified arterial from a railway oar.. The material was believed to have
been destined for the airfield.
6. Electric power is supplied to the airfield by a cable running alonpide the southern
side of the railroad track. ?
7. ..Nothing is known of the existence or location of the fuel storage.
