Gertrude Sekaninova, a Czechoslovak delegate to the 1954 session of the UN General Assembly and Deputy Foreign Minister in Prague, received the follow- ing instructions in June 1954 from Soviet Deputy Foreign Minister Zorin: 2. Delegations were to proceed in such a manner that major issues under discussion with the WAst, such as control of atomic energy, limitation of armaments, etc., should'be kept alin,and inter.st in such probleas should net be allowed to flag until 1956. Negotiations are to be tagged out until then. 3.
