The observations were made from Bruck/Leitha and while driving along the field, mostly just south of the field boundary. 0 and 9 J- ' v. No air activity was observed from Bruck/Leitha. The sky was 10/5.0 overcast. 10 January. Between 0900 and 1400, individual flights at intervals of 20 minutes were made by jet aircraft which approached from the east and departed toward the railroad station at an altitude of 1,000 to 1,200 meters. There was a 510 to 7/10 overcaste j.1 January. Between 2400 and 0100, the take-off strip was lighted. Between 1300 and 1400, the following aircraft were observed on the fields 19 jet aircraft 1 monoplane 1 biplane. No air activity was observed up to approximately 1730. The sky was 6/. 12 January. Between 0900 and 1400, individual flights at intervals of: were made by jet aircraft which flew the same route as on 10 January. kw~ altitude was about 1,000 meters. There was a 7/10 overcast. 14 } 5 Jannarv. No air activity was observed. The sky was 3/10 ove ? January. No air activity was observed at the field. H January. There was no air activity. Between 1300 and 14002 20 jet aircraft and 2 monoplanes were observed on the field. Ten jet aircraft had red caps on the jet aper- tures. 18 Januarv.No air activity was seen from Bruck/Leitha. There was a 7/10 overcast. 21 i m> r,._ Between 0900 and 1500, individual flights at intervals of 15 to 20 minutes were made by jet aircraft which approached from the east and departed turd the railroad station as on 10 January. After 1300, the flights were made at intervals of about 10 minutes. 25X1 Conm~ent. Plarndorf airfield is occupied by a Soviet fighter regiment.
