2. The following is a description of the trucks of a new type which were seen on
28. Deoembers The trucks had a vans like superstructure which slanted slightly from the
roof to about mid-way of the superstructure. At this point it dipped vertically
to about half the height and from there extend Id horizontally to the rear. The
rear side of the higher front part of this suprstructure was open, and the
lower rear part was closed. A four-cornered canvas-covered frame, about 150 cm
high, was fitted on the right rear corner of the lower section. A small portion
of the frame was seen under the tarpaulin. This portion was coated with sheet
metal which probably covered the entire frame. 4
