1. On 23 February 1955, a railroad teletype message indicated that a troop
train of 2 B, 14 SSy, 6 RRym with military goods exeeediig the scheduled
load went from Frankfurt/Oder to Meinsdorf via Doberlug.
2. At 1130 on 22 February, a troop train of 2 B and 20 SSy carrying 20 tanks25X1
probably of the T-54 type, was passing through the Muellrose railroad
station. The train came from Frankfurt/Oder and proceeded toward Cottbus.2
1~_Comment. The composition of the troop train, its cargo which exceeded 25X1
the scheduled load, and Meinsdorf jfts receiving station where the 7th Gds
Tk Div of the Third Gde Meaz Army is stationed indicate that the train
carried tanks of the new T-j4 type from the USSR. The first shipment of
this type tank arrived at Meinsdorf in early November 1954, while that
shipments arrived op ,2 dnd 8 February 1955? -25X1

Comment. This train is not identical with the troop train in 25X1
