1. 0,12 and 1 February 1955_, troop trains, ~ehich had been dispatched on

Rathenow-8orth railroad stations._2he detrained troops went to the three
Walde Baserne installations (5441, 5442, 5443)? On 14 February, all
windows of the troop quarters of the three kasernes were lighted. 1
2. On 12 and 13 February, the following troop trains carrying unitssfrom the 25X1
three Walde Kaserne installations were unloaded at Rathenow:
12 Fel~ruar,~ About 50 trucks and 300 soldiers at an undetermined time;
4o x 122-mm artillery pieces and rose artillery pieces of smaller caliber,
80 trucks, 2 radio trucks, 3 field kitchens and 450 soldiers at 1930.
At 1600 on 13 February. Ten rocket launchers and about 30 trucks.

the Alte Grenadier Kaserne 2225 , and 6 x 152-mm field howitzers and 4

Rathenow. The number of troop trains indicates to Altengrabow for afive-day
firing practice.

belonged to the 495th (?) Arty Segt and 234th Mort 8egt of the 9th Gds Tk Div.
The report confirms xvvioua observations of a rather large number of field 25X1
howitzers (23 and 34~ belonging t? units whi+~i coved to Justsrbog fora three-
day firing practice. field howitzers of 15~-mm, however
are observed with the 9th Gdr Tk DfY fer the fret time.
