It has its own storage rooms and supplies its magazines which are located outside of the post of the co miissa-r-. The commissaries purchase their goods and those for their magazines at the Basa.in Werder. When the magazine is located nearer to the Basa in Werder than to its commissary, the magazine may purchase at the Basa in Werder directly on orders of the supply officer. Chief of each magazine is a lieutenant or a senior lieutenant, Each magazine has its own forwarding clerk. The personnel strength of magazine depends on the strength of the unit to be supplied. The following is given as an example: Commissary (9) Mashkin is located at the main store of the cadre unit in Brandenburg, the post of commissary Bran nburg-Industriehafen.
