Each commissary is the main store of its cadre unit. It has its
own storage rooms and supplies its magazines which are located
outside of the post of the co miissa-r-. The commissaries purchase
their goods and those for their magazines at the Basa.in Werder.
When the magazine is located nearer to the Basa in Werder than to
its commissary, the magazine may purchase at the Basa in Werder
directly on orders of the supply officer. Chief of each magazine
is a lieutenant or a senior lieutenant, Each magazine has its own
forwarding clerk. The personnel strength of magazine depends on
the strength of the unit to be supplied. The following is given as
an example:
Commissary (9) Mashkin is located at the main store of the cadre
unit in Brandenburg, the post of commissary Bran nburg-Industriehafen.
Ij This commissary, and at the same tie. sin stor upplies its four
subordinate magazines Brandenburg- ElstLnobinding endal-Borstel,
and Oranienburg. Part of the maga r goods immediately
at the Basa in W r, and they by their commissary
which at the sam6' s the main at regulations
which magazines at to be supplie rder directly .
The way of handling depends on agree a supply officers,
the main office and the Basa in Werd cods for a commissary
are shipped by rail.
2. Comment.) commissary (3) Gitun 25X1
supplied the Alt-Loennewi.tz and Finsterwa].de military posts. The order
to purchase in Leipzig and Dresden is presumably connected with the
supply of the ground attack regiment expected to return }d to Brandis.
3. Comment. The establishment of a magazine in Oranienburg is 25X1
possibly connected with the re-occupation of Oranienburg airfield by
a flying unit.
