dismissed in January 1955.
2. The organization is divided into two Trade Managements, the first,
I (Imports) including Offices 11 to 14 and headed by Director Bauer (fnu)
and the second, also I (Imports) incorporating Offices 21 to 24. Of these
latter offices :
I 21 concerns itself with Construction and Steel Goods. Gerhard Kugel
heads the Office.
I 22 concerns itself with Tools, employs 12 men and is headed by Karl
Henfler.
I 23 The former head of this Office was summarily discharged in
December 1954 for taking home office files to work on.a-l&- ees

124 conerns itself with Automobile Spare Parts and is headed by Hans
Springmann.
Offi continually deals with Novum in importing, through Novum,
too on a barter basis. A certain Zimmer (fnu) at Novum
handles these negotiations. Cement and machines are delivered
in exchange for the tools. These contracts involve sums of from $10,000 US
to $20,000 US. A Frau Rux (fnu) kkndles business with Office I 22 ftr
the Ministry for Foreign and Internal German Trade.
