On 20 January, 5 biplanes were parked in front of the hangar. These
aircraft practiced flying from 1100"to 1300. They took off
individually and in rapid succession, headed west, then retuned
after some minutes, and landed individually. This exercise sus
repeated several times. On 27 January, at aboLft. 1700, 3 biplanes
took off and headed west.
On 22 January, abouy 50 Soviets were engaged in dril link; r An

2. Between 23 and 29 January, there was no air activity except on
27 Januarv, when 3 Po-2s between 1800 and 2300 made local f3i hts
with sot position lights. :When landing, a lading light on t;e
aircraft was switched on. The touch-down point was illuminated by
a searchlight near the fliZht control stations The searchlight had
a liht intensity similar to that of a csotor vehicle nea:li._ht.

Po-.2s which are used for practice fli -hts and fli4:hts over
the Kremmen training field.
