1. National Plant 24)4-Kielce (Narodowy Zaklad 24-M-Kielce) is located about 3 kilometers
north of the center of the city of Kielce, near the west side of the Kielce-Warsaw 25X1
road, about 1} kilometers north of Ssydlow.k and 2 kilometers west of the Krakow-
Radom-Wareaw railroad. This railroad and the plant are connected by a spar line.
2.. Engineer Stanislaw Czarnecki is the director of the plant and Engineer Mieczyslaw
Bochenek is general manager. The entire administration of the plant is composed
of poles; there is-only one Soviet officer.
3. Personnel of the plant is made up of the following: 32 engineers; 64 administrative
personnel, min and women; 1,600 workmen; and 40 custodial personnel. Work is done
in three shifts. A kitchen, a canteen, a'moving picture theater, and meeting halls
are available for the plant's personnel. In addition, there is a school for
. apprentices .
4. The following items are produced at the plant: complete axles for heavy military
trucks; gears and gear boxes for automobiles and light caterpillar armored vehicles;
complete cylinder blocks for six-cylinder, four-gear diesel engines of 140 horsepower
with 2,500 revolutions per minute; crank cases for theme engines; shaft and connecting
rods for these engines and for carburetor engines of automobiles; complete gear boxes
for ,automobiles.
5. The.monthly production capacity in 1954 was:
40 14-140/6 cylinder blocks
40 M-L40/6 crank cases
40 M-140/6 shafts
60 (rear) axles, with universal joints
75 gear boxes in three different sizes
14 gear bones for light armored vehicles
50 spare parts for carburetor engines
