l~ A broadside slipway (see Point A on sketch) was constructed in the
northeastern part of the WOP (Military Border Guard) Basin (formerly
Westerplatte) in Gdansk (Danzig) in the summer of 1951. The slipway
is 15-20 meters long with a width up to 5 meters. The shed built at
the end of the basin in 1953 contains repair shops for WOP seagoing
craft.
2. A lock (see Point B on sketch), through which a fishing trawler can
pass, was constructed in the summer of 1954 at the end of this basin.
3. Excavation has started on a canal (see Point B on sketch), 10 meters
wide, seawards. It was impossible to establish the length which had
been dug.
