1. Danube shipments of crude oil and oil products from Austria to Czechoslovakia
during November 1954 are expected to reach a total of 32,000 metric tons,
broken down as follows: 25X1
Crude oil 18,000 tons
Refined products 5,000 tons
Asphalt 9 000 tone
2. As this tonnage is considerably more than theusual monthly shipments, two tugs
and two tanker-barges are being used in addition to the "STURIEC" which is plying
regularly on the Lobau.Bratislava run, One of the additional tugs is the "ONDAVA".
3. The 5,000 tons of refined products.. listed above, consist of a fuel similar to
paraffin, but more viscous and not as white in color.
4. All tanker barges arriving from Lobau discharge at the oil-quay in the Bratislava
harbor. The oil is either stored there, or else pumped by pipeline to the Slovnaft
refinery
