(FOR KEY SEE REVERSE)
1. Colonel Orlov, fnu, has been in command of Puetnitz airfield since December
19514. Two East German Air Force (Vd,A) majors are permanently stationed-on
the airfield. The latter are instructors for VdA trainees who are assigned
to the airfield short courses. There is little contact between the Soviet
and German personnel. 25X1
2. No anti-aircraft guns have been observed on the airfield since the middle of
1954. It is believed that the AA defense of the airfield will eventually be
taken over by the VdA.
