1. Dr. Taubenfligel and Dr. Jung have been released from prison as a result
of the visit of Chou En-lai to Warsaw. The two physicians had belonged
to a medical unit which had been attached to the Chinese Communist partisan
forces. After their return to Poland they were accused of having maintained
illegal foreign connections and subsequently were imprisoned, when they
worked as prison doctors.
