Figures for crude oil and gas extraction in 1954 are as follows: a. Oil . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . approximately 231, 000 tons b. Gas . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . approximately 54, 000, 000 m3 2. The throughput of crude oil in oil refineries in 1954 was approximately 360,000 tons. Of this quantity, 198,000 tons were indigenous oil and 162,000 tons were imported. 3. In addition, approximately 22,000 tons of gasoline were obtained from indigenous crude oil.
