1. A Soviet fuel depot was located close to Neuheim-(formerly Dorf Zinna),
where there had been a German fuel depot during the wax'.
2. It was impossible to see inside the depot`-its it was lac,- ted in a hollow
and surrounded by trees. (See Number 1 on sketch below.) It is,
therefore, not known whether the fuel containers were ui.L...jrground or on
the surface.

It was impossible to enter the depot as the gates were guarded by
Soviet sentries.
1t. The only motor vehicles seen going in and out were tank trucks.
