In eum ier 1953, work was being csrried, out an a direct highway from Nikel to
Pechenge. From the eastern edge of :Nikelr' the higbwiy A 64e a slight curve
toward the south and was completed as far as the eye * 3d see. The highway
was wide even by Western standards (sic). A series of dyrsmite explosions
from the highway area was hear, each day in svinmever1953?
