painted in white color at the tower:
the tower was closed;.the upper section
of the tower to the aft was open and
the forward edge of tower slightly
inclined to aft. The protective cover was
rounded on top; the tower had two seeps
in the aft section. A gun of approx 88 mm
was forward of the tower; aft of the t4M:t
on the lower platform an AA gun covered
with canvas was seen. The submarine flew

The tug put to sea from Swinemuende with
a convoy of three steam trawlers. The tug
was approx 35 meters long, painted grey and
flew a blue flag and at the upper corner at
the flagstaff a white jack with red star
and anchor. The tug seemed to function as
ice-breaker.

The boats were smaller than the
speedboats of type Elco; they were
old and in poor condition.
A total of six Ele.o boats were seen in
Osternothafen. 25X1
Intensive activity. Groups of sailors fell
in on shore and aboard. They apparently

received instruction.
A sentry stood on deck. Size: 750 tons. The
tactical number was painted in white color
at the tower. The tower had two steps to the
aft. The upper section of the tower had
a protective glass covet. A 80-mm gun was
