Four generals are quartered in Forst Zinna where a special headquarters installation is located. A special unit of about 3,000 men, possibly KGB troops, is stationed at this installationl. 2. The following officers were identified in Forst Zinna: Lieutenant Colonel Kudrashev: Chief of supply of an anti-aircraft unit. Major Malezhin: Chief quartermaster of the camp in Forst Zinna. Senior Lieutenant Pyatkov: Commandant of the jail located near the camp. The jail contains both German and Soviet prisoners. 3. The unloading of atomic cannon was observed at Wuensdorf during January 1955. 4. Six Soviet officers lectured at a tank course given at Sternbuchholz for 200 KVP NCO's between 12 January and 12 February. Practical exercises were held with T-34 tanks. 1 Comment: The headquarters of the Third Guards Mechanized 25X1 Army is located in Fort Zinna.
