In December 195%1 a ~.otal of 64,9`98,857 kg of various e:oods were trans-
nortod in 3,777 Frei;-ht cars through the Czechoslovak-Austrian border
stations Devinska Nova Ves M9/X89) - Marchegg (P49/S70) in both di-
rections. Of this quantity 119,1112,583 kg in 2,695 carloads and 111 cases
went from Marchegg to Devinska Nova Ves, and 15, 8116, 274 kg in 1,082
carloads and 1' various containers went in the opposite direction.
The following goods were involved:
A. ':fetals - -
B. `.fetal goods 1,717,113 kg in 102 carloads and 8 cases
C. Chemicals 2,235,718 kg in 172 carloads and 3 barrels
D. Liquid & solid fuels 411,333,620 kg in 2,312 carloads
Z. Textiles 562,060 kg in 49 carloads
F. Foodstuffs 9,887,126 kg in 707 carloads
G. Lumber 5,269,238 kg in 318 carloads
H. Other items 983,982 kg in 117 carloads and 21 cases
Total 64,988,857 kg in 3,777 carloads and 32 various
containers
Apart from this, 1,374 empty tankers went through the two border stations,
1,330 from Poland to Austria for refilling, and 411 in the opposite di-
rection (mostly to Poland for repair).
