Nine trains carrying tank units were dispatched from Halle/Ammendorf to Ross- leben between 19 and 21 April. On 25 and 26 April, ten trains coming from RBD Magdeburg were unloaded in Forst Zinna.l 2. On 26 April, large scale transport movements were reportedly under way in Halle, Rathenar and in RBD Schwerin where approximately 40 trains were employed for troop movements. to Forst Zinna presumably carried troops of the 7th Guards Tank Division. Comment: The shipments to Rossleben transferred elements of the 21st Guards Mechanized Division to the Lossa troop training grounds. The trains 19 shipments had been dispatched from Dessau and Zerbst to Jueterbog between 21 and 27 April.
